Coconut water

As I mentioned before, it is very important to hydrate your body during the workout. Today, I’ll be writing about it with a little different, more natural approach. I’m quite sure that there are people who care about their health as much as I do. As we all know, energetic drinks contain a lot of chemical ingredients, so if you really want to drink such, please do it rarely. Have you heard about coconut water that hydrates about 10 times better that a regular isotonic drink? The biggest advantage of this drink is a very rich source of electrolytes, providing a fast hydration. A great advantage of drinking coconut water is its amount of natural bioactive enzymes that positively affect digestive processes. Drinking coconut water helps to stop producing oxidative stress in the kidneys, and as a result, protects them and prevents form tumors. One of the best ingredients of coconut water is kinetin which slows the aging process of the skin. Did you know that this unique drink is Madonna’s favorite? Drinking it can definitely help to lower the cholesterol level and a high blood pressure. In addition to this, it helps to accelerate wound healing and to maintain a good blood level. Also, drinking coconut water improves eyesight. All of these advantages seem to be important not only for diabetics, but for everyone. It tastes great when it’s cooled, but you can also use it for a cocktail as a base; it’s a perfect idea for a summer drink! The carbohydrate content of the product is  5-8 g. /100 ml. The best way to do is to drink it gradually through all the day, since you don’t need to think about dosing insulin. The only drawback is its price, 500 ml costs about 10 PLN. Despite this fact, I’m convinced it’s so good for our health that it’s worth to drink it.
